Easy to register jury duty, excellent welcome speech from judge Davis, and security was a breeze. Plus I worked the whole time I was waiting from my laptop

Horrible place. Went there to get records from a case 25 Yeats ago. Sheriff's in front rude as heck. Hot shots look at you like their sh## doesn't stink. Fat boy in blue proceeded to lecture me on metal detectors...forgot to remove my belt. Why 8 sheriff's to stand at 2 metal detectors. What a waste of tax dollars. Thank God I never have to go back to this dirt bag court house
Fortunately a new building which will be a complete replacement for this one is currently being prepared across the street, obviously with modern earthquake resistance.
From what I understand the new courthouse will be opened for trials in early 2017. This old building will then be permanently closed and eventually demolished.
If you have to deal with "family" law issues, and you are a man, know this........
Old building (opened 1961) that was determined to not be eligible for refurbishing due to being riddled with asbestos and being built directly on an earthquake fault. Facilities are thus badly antiquated. It's functional, but just barely.
