Won't even give them 1 star. The workers there are idiotic. They obviously don't know how to do things at all. My husband goes in because he needs his ID and brought in his birth certificate andandold passport. They basically said he needed an id in order to get an id. Wtf. Do you not here yourself stupid bitch. I'm done.
It was a terrible experience!... I'm only giving them a 1 star because the downstairs workers were actually of some help (and I can't go any lower). I was sent upstairs to get the birth certificate of my deceased mother and that is where everything turned sour!.. I signed in around 9:50 or so and was not attended until 11:40.... and there were only 4 people ahead of me. Besides that the guy at window 10 (didn't care to remember his name) was extremely rude. I think he cared more about wiping his white pants clean than attending people. He acted like he had lots to do and just sat there. He especially was rude if you were a USA citizen.... I spoke to him in spanish, but he noted that I was a USA citizen and adressed me rudely like if i didn't understand...he started to speak to me in English and saying that I was a 'gringa' like yes I was born here but that doesn't take the fact that I'm Mexican. It seemed as if they thought they were better than you...made them seem more uneducated! Anyway, I finally got my mother's birth certificate after a looong wait.
Very rood people working here and very slow process. Also the place is very small and there’s not enough chairs to sit and from the first level you wait until is your turn then you have to go to the second floor and wait more time until they called you twice and then you go downstairs to pick up your passport
Consul Marcela Celorio Mancera please do something!!!
P.S: They wanted a copy of my mother's birth certificate to give me my mother's birth certificate WHAT??? come on... luckily i had an old riped one with me, that was not good anymore.. but come on seriously?
Horrible experience ever! People are rude, not professional. All the times I have been inside this so-called consulate, people yelled at me, get mad for no reason, and talk to you as if you are someone from a 'lower class' than them. I have seen how they talk to indigenous people and old people too. It's horrible. These people are here to help us!
Nice people, call for an appointment it was the best thing I ever did. The staff was nice and cordial. Very knowledgeable and fast to help and answer all your questions. Be prepared if you go with out appointment you will wait a little while. Other than that it should be ok. I was told to bring cash to pay for my transaction but they also take ATM and credit cards.
