Our son Jadyn loves fire trucks and every time we go on walks by our beach on Windansea in La Jolla and spots ladder #13 & #16 fire trucks drive by he always stops and waves at them. I must say that they always return the favor to my son with a smile and a wave. (See picture posted).

Thank you for the small gesture but monumentally huge for this very special 6 year old. As much as we walk, I'm pretty sure our son is fast becoming the La Jolla mascot as everyone is becoming very familiar with him as he gives a resounding "Hi!" to every passer by.
