Cali Baguette Express, as the name implies, it is super fast service.
Quick affordable sandwiches for the road or small lunch. Sandwiches are good and tasty. Call your order ahead of time. Smoothies are really good. Their Vietnamese soups are okay, would rather go to a restaurant sit down for those as it's the same price but a little less here. They do however have good bun rieu and beef stew.
The Sandwich is very simple and fresh. It is not rich at the same time very fresh taste. I had #4 BBQ Pork, loved the freshness and taste of the well cooked pork. Also had Fried egg sandwich earlier, which was very simple and tasty.
I have only one complaint, the meet is very less in the sandwich and it was not very filling. So, next time, I have some tips to myself.
I've have come here several times since my father is a regular here. The food is good, but not great. The menu is simple and the sandwhiches are well priced, but it well leave you hungry in a couple of hours or less. The revision of the place is good, yet the menu pictures have been removed which made easy in knowing what you are going to get. The cashier usually is a new worker every so often. In turn they don't know the menu well enough or the system. Also the old time cooks don't know english, for example I ordered lemongrass ribeye with cajun shrimp (surf 'n' turf) rice bowl. What I received was just shrimp. My dad wanted his usual of short rib rice plate, and he received lemongrass ribeye rice bowl. My dad tried to talk to the cook and she responded "no english." There is one worker that knows my dad very well and always gets our food right. So she corrected our order and apologized for their faults. Another reason this place is okay is that they have too much of an selection of pork dishes than anything else. Don't expect to come here to have phó since they only do dry foods.
We went here during our team lunch with my colleagues All of us were very satisfied and had no complaints.

I love Bánh mì at this place and especially the tofu fried rice so so well seasoned plus their staff are very friendly/helpful. The French invented baguettes BUT WE Vietnamese made it better!
I used to like this place until I added extra veggie on my sandwhiches which they charged me for but it was the same sandwhiches with regular veggie.
