Good for emergency type items. Ice. Soda. Smokes. But way to high on all other products. 1 onion is at 60 cents. Plus the attitudes of the employees are unreal. Guess they think you're going to rip them off or something. Not even American..
I am not the type of person to right a review. But after seeing their review rating on google I had to post something. I've been coming to this family owned liquor store for a couple of years, everyone single person in that building cares about who you are and what you are buying. Every single time I suggest a product they bring it in. They know me and almost every single person I bring in by name or by a nickname. They are friendly, accommodating and open to suggestions when it comes to product in their store. I wish that everyone gave them a 5* because they deserve it.
I don't live near enough to frequent this shop anymore and that sucks. When I lived in Banker's Hill this was my favorite local market. Had a bit of produce, always had the right canned goods in stock to get a good chili going. Pretty expansive selection of wine and beer, and an even better selection of liquor. Plus, if they don't have something you want, if you're a neighborhood local, they'll absolutely get it stocked for you. I feel like these guys really appreciate their customers. Oh, and don't forget to check out the deli. Delicious and pretty damned cheap.
Love this place! It's been here forever. Owners and staff always friendly, store is always clean and tidy, and if you don't see something you regularly buy, they will often start stocking it for you (if you are a regular customer.) Parking is easy, really convenient location.
They have a great selection as well as I would give the deli and fresh produce five stars. The service on another note is a little shabby to say the least. But getting back to it they will have anything you need in an emergency cooking situation.
