Nice property. Rooms are a little old in the section we were in. Great beach area in a dive so very safe for small children. Seems like the beach was cleaned regularly. Has a bar and a restaurant. Good food. Staff very friendly and welcoming. One thing I noticed was the slowness by the housekeeping staff. It was after 5:00 pm before we got our room cleaned.
I attended a wedding there. The lawn where the ceremony was held was beautiful, well maintained. The wedding went smoothly and it was well organized. They had a cocktail hour before we went into the reception area which was nice. Would of been a little better had they provided us with some chairs. The reception area was beautiful and eventful.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon 3 days 2 nights. The staff was wonderful and polite, they even went out of their way to send us a wedding gift. Our room faced the bay and we got an incredible view of it. The rooms look new and we'll taken care of, very cozy. They provided us with a free fridge and coffee machine. There was plenty of towels and soaps. We booked last minute and they accommodated, we are so thankful to the Bahia Resort for making our honeymoon unforgettable.

Love this resort. The staff is fabulous. Tennis courts in great shape. Jacuzzi has strong jets. Heated pool. Clean. Updated room. Breakfast on property was really good. I was worried when I saw a few of the negative reviews. An employee said that those were old and they have worked really hard to fix what was posted. We will be back.
