Sandwich tasted ok but the meat was processed BBQ pork not usual real cuts. The place was also under construction when I visited on a Sunday and full of construction dust. If inspectors were working then it would have been shut down.
This place has the softest bread and most tender meat. My fav banh mi for sure.
Easy to miss, it's an old interior but the food is amazing. The bread have the lovely crunch but soft inners and they always stuff the heck out of the sandwiches. Super affordable. I always come here for lunch when I forget to meal prep. :)
Okay this place does look like a total dump, but man their sandwichs taste good and are sold at a good price. Just bring cash.
This a true hole-in-the-wall best Vietnamese sandwich in San Diego. Don't be deceived by the the decor, it make look run down but they make the best sandwiches. Packed with meat, and veggies. Other Vietnamese sandwich places give you some weak served sandwiches, not this place. Plus if you buy 5, you get one free! Wish the place would get more credit but it's easy to miss on the main road
