A good example of one of the things that make San Diego unique: canyons in the metro area. Lovingly maintained by Friends of the Canyons, the Sierra Club, the City and other locals, Juniper Canyon invites you to wander and explore the unique flora and fauna indigenous to SoCal. Please be kind by taking only pictures and leaving only footprints so others can enjoy the space.

Nice trails well maintained, not crowded, clean, easy to navigate.

It's a good shortcut but you got to go slow going down the hill very easy to lose control

Come on peeps!

Beautiful, great walk, but I always take a trash bag, and it gets filled in less than ,5 miles.

It's a nice short hike. On the map it looks a lot longer than it actually is though. Be aware that it dead ends at a private property boundary line.

Carry out what you carry in!
