I am a local fish keeper who just wanted to see the nature of their operation and look at their fish. They have a solid reputation and a good rapport with several local stores I frequent. I like to stop by and catch the latest news from my acquaintances as well as share news and discoveries of my own. It keep information flowing and invigorates hobbyists.
As I conscientious consumer I stopped by but was dismissed citing "we are online only". I know that to be false in the case of local stores utilizing them to purchase fish in person. The employee I interacted with was nice enough however, there was very little going on.
I feel a chance to look around and gain insight so as to offer a more informed opinion when asked would have been prudent business decision. I understand they don't want to let every "tire kicker" in the door. However, I came there under distinctly different pretense and remain distinctly disenchanted about this business.
