Thanks Dave, Yolanda, Johnny, Shannon and Lindsay. The team at Water & Sports Physical took excellent care of me and I'm in great shape looking forward to the future.

A very knowledgeable team who through their dedication and availability show they care. IF you or anyone you know has a need for physical rehabilitation, there isn't any place else I would recommend.

The real difference , for me, has been the pool therapy. After one session my balance had improved so much I didn't need a cane for stability. The water provides the opportunity to vary resistance by changing the speed at which you perform movement exercises. If it starts to hurt, you just slow it down. The therapists are definitely working to stretch my muscles with various exercises as well as hands on stretching. With three pool sessions in, my improvement has been remarkable. I have not had to rely on any medication but sometimes after a tough workout my ice pack is my best friend!

I would highly recommend this facility for everything ranging from post-op recovery to sports injuries. It is the best! My therapists are friendly, professional, and make me want to succeed.

My Neurosurgeon was disappointed in my progress and ordered six weeks of 3x a week therapy. Within my first land based visit, I was evaluated and given several new exercises to do at home.

Dr. Kirsten Brown was my PT. My doctor suggested PT as a treatment to address a sore left knee and a painful right foot, probably due to biomechanical issues. Kirsten determined that my left quad was very tight and the fascia of the right foot was possibly inflamed (confirmed later by ultrasound done by the doctor). During the treatment period, Kirsten determined that my left hip flexors were tight. I noticed that the left knee pain lessened as I did the exercises to loosen the left hip flexors. After 12 sessions, the pain was very manageable, so I stopped the appointments to save some for a future date, if needed. When I asked her about electrical stimulation as a treatment method, she cited studies which questioned its effectiveness. I must remind myself to do some of these PT exercises at home. I hope that my left leg and right foot are ready for my gig as a youth soccer referee.

In April of this year I had an L4/L5 spinal fusion with disc removal and placement of 2 plates and 2 screws. I had five weeks of 2x a week land based therapy in Maryland with minimal improvement in balance, mobility, core strength, and relief from muscle tightness and spasm.

I came out to the San Diego area to care for my grandson, did my research, and chose Water & Sports Physical Therapy Coronado

The therapy I am receiving at Water & Sports Therapy is amazing. In just 4 weeks they have accomplished more than another therapist in 6 month. Dr. Dave has magic hands and the staff is also very helpful as well and make me comfortable during it all. i am very grateful for all they do.

Water and Sports Therapy in Coronado,Ca is a n excellent place to go for rehabilitation of any kind. The therapists and staff are knowledgeable,, compassionate and experienced. They do everything they can to get their patients back on track! I recommend this facility without any reservation!
