I am a sophomore at this school and I would love to say that it’s pretty bad. The teachers are ok its just the atmosphere and the academies . There were a lot of drugs around campus during my freshmen year that got so bad, police dogs had to sniff everyone’s backpack. The academies are pointless since it doesn’t really help a lot of people at all. It would be better if it was like a normal high school where everyone takes normal classes and has a normal schedule not like an A and B day schedule. Everyone would enjoy waking up and going to a regular class for an hour instead of staying in a class you completely unenjoy for 1hr 30 mins. So please Stop the academies #stoptheacademies
I 100% hate the academies but overall a good school, they're just not working. Might as well stop them now before you lose more students and incoming students. OH AND STOP CUTTING CLASSES WE ACTUALLY LIKE, Thank you. :) Oh and Mark Colombo is an amazing teacher, give him a raise. #stoptheacademies
PS: They make you do the same assignment that is all correct and completed, and thinking its funny to make you do it all over again.
I like Clairemont and I liked the academies but now the academies are stopping me from taking ASB and I cant be sophomore class president which i really wanted to be STOP THE ACADEMIES!!! #stoptheacademies
The school is terrible, staff is disrespectful, mean, cruel, and just rude. And its unclean as well. They also keep some restrooms for the kids locked forever. Like come on guys. Even their security grabbed my arm and tackled me just a few months ago. And their biology teacher is just a lazy person, WHO DOESN'T GIVE US A GRADE AND THINKING THAT GIVING D'S AND F'S IS GONNA MAKE US PASS HIGH SCHOOL. NO. THIS SCHOOL IS TERRIBLE. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED YOU DON'T GO HERE EVER.
