There is also a Denney' s Restaurant on the northeast side of 163 and Friars Rd.: It 's been there for many decades and is a continuing icon to the "family style restaurants" of the late 50' and 1960's.
It's well laid out and has popular stores and ample parking, but it's a little small.
Nice place to hangout or even just for fast refreshing walk, nice businesses, but definitely could be more diverse with adding more, plenty of parking spaces!
Not many shops. Location and parking difficult to get around. Movie theatre fills up fast. Tried to watch a movie that premiered over a week ago, and the theatre was packed during matinee hours on a Saturday. Tickets are $9, which is nice. Would avoid coming here unless there was no other place to go.
Staff is courteous but didn't care much for their paid parking and $3 bottled water if I had to not pick point that turned off. However, the rooms were nice and my stay was restful. I would have rated higher if it wasn't for those two annoyances.
I go to Hazard Center primarily to view movies at the six theater cinema multiplex; the screens are very large with an intense sound system; their morning and afternoon matinee specials can't be beat !
