I had always been curious about "sensory deprivation" and was excited to get a gift certificate for Christmas. My initial experience was wonderful -- greeted warmly by the receptionist who gave me a tour of the facility, explained my options, safety features, etc. The room was clean and comfortable, and she gave me suggestions to enhance my experience. Once I got in, I was relaxed almost immediately. The water felt wonderful on my skin -- some light tingling all over. I thought I was already pretty relaxed when I got there, but as I floated, I relaxed so much my only concern was driving home! I totally loved my session, and look forward to another. I highly recommend it!
This is the place to go to float in San Diego! Floating has so many therapeutic benefits and I always leave feeling very relaxed and refreshed. It's newly renovated, clean, very quiet, and the owner Mark and staff could not be more friendly and accommodating. They provide everything you need. Check out the new IR sauna while you are there, too!
