Just had the WORST experience at this IKEA. A sales manager named Ryan is the most unprofessional and rude sales clerk I’ve ever encountered. What a shame for the IKEA brand to have this man wearing your uniform. After multiple (in person) attempts to purchase a chair in store, an employee told me I could speak with a manager about arranging to have the chair delivered to my home. I then spoke to Ryan where he cut me down like I wasn’t even human and only addressed my husband. He told me to call the store next time before I stopped by. I replied yes, I’ve tried multiple times to call your store and no one has ever answers the phone. He snarkily replied just to call again. His disdain was evident.
I’ve always loved shopping here and have been a VERY loyal customer but I don’t think I’ll be back.
Other than that it is good stuff
The only down side of it is that sometimes you know what you need but you still have to walk through the hope household goodness maze just to get to the check out lines...
There are great prices for what furniture or other home goods you are looking for and the company has a nice "Family Card" service. The food for what you pay is also excellent both upstairs and downstairs although I would reccomend upstairs more often (Breakfasts come to about 2 dollars per plate and coffee is 2 dollars, free with the family card which is also free). I don't give it five stars only because the store is a maze which is a double edged sword. It means you have to get through the entire store to find what you might be looking for but also might find other products you're looking for or need that are priced relatively well. In short, it's the great prices for it's products, be it home goods or food, that is what's worth coming here.
Have good quality furniture at a low price. Excellent for budget conscious shopping. All the staff I spoke to (Returns, Home Delivery Clerk & driver) were nice and super friendly. Initially told me my Home Delivery order would come between 1 and 4 PM but I got a call from the driver who dropped off my mattress at 11pm.
Cafe is tasty, well priced, and gives you the calories right on the menu. Their veggie balls are delicious. Even my carnivore husband liked them. Not everyone enjoys the style of Swedish furniture, but if you do, there are pricing options from economy to high-end. Personally, I like the look and appreciate the value they place on storage.
This is a very cool store if you live in a small place or if you like practical home decor.
