Windmall Farms is an awesome place that's family owned an operated. There are plenty of organic and unique food options, comparable to variety of Whole Foods. Plus, a large selection of green- friendly products throughout the store. They also have a bakery and food deli preparing on the daily.
They're a little expensive on a few products, but it's understandable when you're a mom and pop of the neighborhood competing with Mission Valley and the surrounding college area.
I highly suggest paying them a visit.
Wonderful family owned grocer. Super close to home with unique products for all types of chefs. Sometimes the produce is suspect but the beer selection is wonderful.
Very good grocery store. Next to it a liquor store with a wine bar which serves many libations & food.Good stop! ;=)
