I came in from Sharp Chula Vista, due to them not having a GI doctor. I ended up having my gallbladder removed. The staff that took care was pretty amazing. They really cared and took great care of me.

I went to the ER with extreme abdomen pain at 3am and came out the next day after surgery on a gallbladder removal. I cannot say enough good things about all of the people who I spoke with, from techs and nurses to surgeons. Everyone, I mean everyone took their time with me, educated me and gave me the absolute best care.i received the Nordstrom's treatment at a critical time in my life and for that I will always be thank you. A special thank you to my nurse Rachel and surgeon Jared Wong.

Dr. Levinsohn and the Staff of 4 North are the ABSOLUTE BEST! I hear your motto is the "Sharp Experience" and I have to admit your Hospital, Providers and Staff live up to that motto. My Wife underwent a knee replacement and never have I see such Professionalism, true care and concern for the Patient and overall attentiveness. Both my Wife and I have worked in the Medicine field for over 30 years each. My Wife is a Nurse Case Manager and I am a retired Navy Chief Hospital Corpsman. I cannot think of anything better to say about this caring group of wonderful people who cared for my Wife. My Wife and I would like to formally recognize the following staff members:

Dr. Leninsohn: Surgery was OUTSTANDING, my Wife has absolutely no complications and 4 days after discharge, reached a 95 degree knee flexion.

Very Very horrible experience to this Sharp Hospital. At the night time, maybe they don't have enough doctors to take care for the patients. If you have extreme pain, you will wait to die in this hospital at the night time. My mom had an extreme abdomen pain, we came at 11:30pm at night time. When we entered to the front desk, they already said we have to wait 3 or 4 hours to see the doctor. I was very surprised because the patient has an extreme abdomen pain but they don't care what going on to the patient. I have no choice to go another hospital because it was almost midnight. We have been waiting 3 hours already, but we are still waiting outside the lobby with the pain and no ones care for my mom . They gave my mom the pain medication but it didn't work at all. I hope they can have more the doctors work at the night time schedule , so it can helps solving the problem.
Please recognize all of these fine Staff members for the above and beyond care they provided to my Wife! I would recommend anyone to receive their care at Sharp Memorial where we certainly experienced the Sharp Experience and encourages others who need Health Care, Surgery and Hospitalization to look no further and go to Sharp Memorial for all your healthcare needs. In this day and age it is very nice and comforting to know that their are Organizations such as Sharp Memorial out their. They treat their Patients just like Family. Once in the Sharp Memorial Hospital ER, I received quick, accurate, and excellent care for what was diagnosed as a gastrointestinal pain in my chest and abdomen. Each healthcare professional was extremely sympathetic and took great lengths to make sure I was attended to and comfortable. Specifically, a Doctor Watt was quick to diagnose my pain properly and to give me pain relief. The care, hospitality, and compassion Sharp's emergency room gave was exceptional. Conclusion: Outstanding Care!
