Terrible customer service. Had to wait 30 minutes to gain access into a meeting room I had rented. Had to pay a service fee for a package that was sent to the hotel that I was never notified had arrived. Did the express checkout and never received my folio. Called the hotel to have the folio emailed to me and it took three calls and two conversations to finally have it sent. If you are looking for a hassle free business trip, this hotel will not meet your expectations.

The salt water pool was fabulous. Great view of the bay and unfortunately shipping barges from the pool. The hotel has out door patios overlooking the pool area which makes it a bit awkward when people (mainly men) stare at the pool guests. The hotel is very nice, right on the water and a bit of a walk to Sea Port Village but has a great bridge to easily walk to the downtown area. Our room was a bit outdated and beat up. We had a real problem with our room keys and ended up needing to change them out 7 times between myself and husband.

Came here for a business function. Great outdoor area and vibe with large vistas overlooking the bay. The indoor section of the function hall had a nice dance floor although slightly irregular shape. But gave quiet spaces for talking. Catering was delicious and the bar in the middle of all the action was good for access. Service was attentive and never missed a beat!

This was my first time staying in a hotel and to be honest it was exceptionally nice. The staff are nice and the services they offer are amazing. Definitely a place to remember since it's so close to the downtown area and the pier.

I really liked the breakfast buffet, but the selection was not as extensive as I had hoped. The view of the bay was beautiful, and you could see it as you ate breakfast at the restaurant where there was a buffet. The quality of the toiletry items was less than expected for a 4 diamond hotel. They seemed to be very cheaply made. Staff were nice though and did respond to most of our requests. The hotel has a lot of modern art that is abstract or beach-themed. There is a Starbucks onsite, and they are close to the convention center. However, we had limited time, so we did not even get to go to the Starbucks. The location is good, and it is near to a lot of things. They have a spa facility, fro-yo place, and gift shop inside the hotel. I would love to stay here again if I came to San Diego!
