Rooms were clean, but a little dated. Would like the option for blackout shades and not just shutters. (I realize that shades would detract from the overall theme) Staff was friendly and helpful, bike rental was a definite bonus. Grounds were beautiful and really brought home the island vibe.
Great place to stay! Beautiful grounds. Room wasn't big but it was great for what we needed. Resort has Tropical feel. Had our own patio to sit outside and enjoy the peace. The lounge had great entertainment and no cover charge. Free bike rentals to explore shelter island. Just miles from downtown. Would definitely stay there again!

The resort and parking fees are a bit off-putting, but common for the area. The only negative was that we were charged for drinks that we did not have. We questioned the charges immediately and were referred to someone else. Of course, we had to leave a message. We did not receive a follow-up call or a credit.

Wonderful hotel. Our only issue is there nowhere to get an after dinner drink, except the lounge. If there is live music, forget it. Not enough seating and too loud for a regular conversation. They will charge you the entrance fee before you find all this out.
