Rooms are comfy, clean, and appointed as well as a mid-level commercial hotel, like Hampton Inn. The front desk staff is efficient and friendly. I even received a large cookie on check-in. There is a nice park with a playground, track, and exercise equipment just across the street as well as a full gym just past the park.
All this at a reasonable rate and the safety of a Marine Base on the north side of San Diego. It's quite a good deal.
I was most impressed with the free breakfast including waffles, scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy, cinnamon rolls, and sausage, among other options. Delicious!
Great place to stay if you're in the Miramar area. Improved rooms and customer service. A significant upgrade from 2003. Would definitely return for leasure.
The staff is very nice. The Inn itself is clean and functional. The breakfast is good. Would have given it 5 stars but my room had one of the worst views at the Inn.
It is so amazing and wonderful that we give our military families a lovely place to stay when they are packed and in between relocation.
