Overall pretty disorganized staff (key cards didn’t work, wasn’t given the code for front door, host could not find reservation). The sheets were clean but the rooms could use some general maintenance. Don’t get excited about breakfast (toast and kids cereal) or dinner (salad and rice). In the main house there is a general ruckus till about 11pm. But you get what you pay for and it’s just about the cheapest place in town.
Our time at the hostel was extraordinary; Great food, great people, convenient location. Maryanne was an exceptional manager and made us feel completely at home. I would definitely recommend staying here.
Could not have chosen a better place to stay. Beds were clean and comfortable. Food was decent, but there was a lot of it. Bathrooms were relatively clean. It was the people though that made this hostel one to remember. Everyone was incredibly social and inviting, and that started with the staff that created a culture of friendliness and good vibes. All around great place thank you.
Amazing place. We loved our stay at ITH San Diego. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Shout out to Barbara who helped us extend our stay. I would definitely recommend this place and will visit again :-)
I loved the style and people here. I will say my standards are low but I liked it. Many things we're not in working order so there's plenty room for improvement, but at the price those are all just a bonus.
