Museum should be free to all, it should be paid by our tax money. This will mutually benefit both the parties.

This place is free. Good to bring large groups when there is nothing else to do

The exhibits range from Sea Cobra to F-18. Few have them have staffs standing next to it and explaining. You could also climb inside few of them. Kids loved it, especially if they have been to Air Show in October.

This place is huge and takes 1-2 hour, even you run fast to cover all, it will take min 30 min. The area is around 27k square foot.

Also, I heard there are future plans to build a 90k square foot museum building for indoor displays, that would be cool. So again, do donate :)

Fascinating history of Marine aviation! Getting up close to the aircraft and equipment was so fun for the whole family. Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum is a must visit for residents of San Diego and tourist alike.

Yes, Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum is absolutely free and free parking, but please feel free to donate, they need it. I would have driven pass by this place million times and yet did not even try to get in to this place, all I though was how to jump this fence and fly on them away.

Great experience! A great place for a donation and a walk thru the recent history of the corp. Also caught a great temporary exhibit on Navajo code talkers.

Easy access, free parking, friendly staff, and nice layout. The museum is rather small, but it is very nice. The tour guides are very helpful and enjoyable. Kids and adults alike will enjoy the open cockpit displays with guides available to answer questions.
