A PERFECT PLACE TO SEE ONE OF A KIND VIEWS OVER LOOKING THE PACIFIC OCEAN BEAUTIFUL SUNSETS ... WHEN THE SUN SETS JUST RIGHT YOU CAN SEE FOR EVER EVER AFTER.
This is a place to relax with fantastic views. Be aware of cliffs that are unstable and eroding. We lose people here so use caution please!!! The recent 2017 rains really eroded some places. A great drive with lots of parking and a rough on your vehicle large lot at the far end. Two port o potties there are only restrooms at this park. Check out tides before visiting and the nimble person can follow locals down to a few different little beaches along the way.. beware though it is a risk to slip on slick steep dirt trails down. Our local surfers manage carrying their boards! Stay above and the trails are dusty but scenic.
I must see when visiting San Diego, CA for the first time. Time your visit to correspond with the evening sunset. Bring some chairs and some picnic snacks and enjoy the show. Be careful around the cliffs they are very dangerous. Common to hear people getting hurt after standing too close to the edge. Parking can be difficult so be patient and have comfortable shoes for walking.
Beautiful spot along the coastline. Excellent spot any time of day even though it’s known for the sunsets. Most of the parking is on the street parallel to the curb. There are a couple of spots where you can pull in to small parking lots. Careful when you walking and pay attention to the warning signs so you don’t fall off the cliffs.
People friendly. Amazing view, I used to herbalize here when I needed to get away from the hectic city sounds. Do not bring any sort of weaponry if you are to do this and be prepared to throw your herb away if asked to do so through cooperation. Good surfers to watch as well. Had a barbeque with a mobile grill here a couple times with friends as well. Some snarky people then but that was about.. 2007. Now people are nicer. Please follow speed limit and be watchful for pedestrians if coming from across town or nearby. The cliff may erode someday so drive safely!
