Perhaps I will have an opportunity to rate this place better if I EVER catch it open. My apologies for the negative review, but that's just how some of your neighbors feel. Just food for thought...extend your hours of operation.
Acai bowls are heated up in a microwave in plastic. Other than whatever else they put in there... a humble cafe with potential. Nice to see help from students next door at the Albert Einstein Academy Charter School.
Amazing spot. I'm lovin' here. The only thing they need is a good working air conditioning system lol.
The acai bowls are bomb and the view of Coronado bridge is beautiful! Have your cameras ready!
Side note: I'd definitely have to agree with the hours review. I'm a neighbor also and 8/10 times I crave the place, it's closed. (including right now which is why I have their page pulled up checking their hours
I'm going to temporarily give this place 2 stars because I live around the corner & my partner and I are never able to experience this place because the hours of operation are mediocre. It's definitely not for someone who has a fulltime job with standard M-F business hours.
I love small business coffee shops. But this place offers one of my favorite kind of coffee, Bulletproof Coffee. (Obviously I'm biased cuz in a Bulletproof Coach) The Acaí bowl was delicious. I know it's hard to do everything by yourself, but when we walked in the owner was in the back making someone their lunch order, so we just waited around wondering where everyone was for 5 min. (Would be good to have a sign or a bell).
