Very nice environment with lovely staff. The bread was fantastic! And if the people and scenery isn't enough to impress you, the food will surely win you over! Lunch Special is perfect!
Went here with a party of 7 with two of them being kids under the age of 8. Staff was very helpful. The kids food came out very quick which was nice because they were really hungry and just the right amount of food for them. The wine menu was decent and reasonably priced. Everyone in the party really enjoyed there pasta. I have to say the pizza looked and smelled delicious. Will definitely be back to try that. The bread that is put on the table could be more flavorful that would be my only complaint.
We started off with the bread provided to us and some wine. The bread was ok, but not great. The wine list is small, but has some nice offerings at a reasonable price.
Lovely little rustic Italian place with amazing food and a decent wine selection. Careful, the portions are a lot bigger than they look.
We shared a beautiful salad, and my wife had a nice pasta dish that she was very happy with. I ordered a New York Steak that was significantly sub par... a thin cut compared to what I am used to, not overly flavorful, and simply filled with fat and gristle. I honestly can't believe they sent this out to me. I was removing every other bite from my mouth through the entire meal. It thankfully came with mashed potato's and a nice mix of vegetables.
So I'm at little torn here... if my steak would have been even reasonable I would be giving this place 4 stars. I think we will come back and avoid the meat dishes... maybe I can kick the stars up a notch or two on an update.
I respect they are family owned/staffed, but hire some servers outside the family with experience. It was so disorganized I swear I could hear the Keystone Cops theme playing in the background.
This place looks like it should be great. The atmosphere is really nice and the staff all seem attentive and helpful. It's pretty new, so they have some time to get it all together... it looks like others have had a better experience than I did...
