Very nice place. As a person who just moved from Russia can testify that the food is authentic and as a person whose dad is from Georgia can say that they serve Georgian food only on rare occasions, specifically on Thursday evenings. Great decor, a lot of good Russian poems written on the walls.
This is my favorite restaurant in the city. Food is amazing, service is good. A little pricey, but worth it and maybe because we always order everything!
For lactose-free people: don't go there, diary is virtually unavoidable.
Sooooooooooo Amazing! It is an absolute must have the cheese pie it is decadent love love love love love. Had the chicken casserole melts in your mouth this is a place you have to go to!!!!
From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, staff was incredibly hospitable, friendly, and professional. We loved every meal we ordered, the drinks, and the much needed helpful suggestions of our server. Would definitely recommend! Looking forward to making the 1.5hr drive to come here again soon! :D
Nice place. If you are visiting SD, I would definitely recommend to go to Pomegranate. Native Russian-speaking visitors may find the food a bit different from the original Georgian, Russian, or Ukrainian dishes with similar names, but still it's a unique place to get the taste of this fusion. The food is as authentic as any other fusion food prepared by Ukrainian-Russian chief in Russian-Georgian place, simply - a "far-Eastern European" fusion (if not Soviet Union, that does not exist anymore). The waiters there are good, they knows what to recommend you if you are lost in the menu and how to explain nuances of their kitchen.
