This is a cute little area of San Diego that's a must if you're a tourist in the area. It's right by the shore and great for boat watching and sunsets! If you're looking for somewhere to eat you can take a walk and look at the different places. Most of them were a little to upscale for my wife and I but we found a little restaurant on stilts in the water called pier café! Great service great food and brilliant views!
Outdoor shopping village, filled with quirky artistic and designer stores. There is one that sells all kinds of spicy items and another store that only sells mugs. Can definitely spend a few hours browse through all the shops.
This is my favorite place to go when I am in San Diego. You can take such a nice walk and enjoy beautiful views. There are a lot of activities in the area for anyone. I went there early morning for a walk and hit the open fish market and continued walking enjoying the views. Then in the afternoon I did some shopping and enjoyed the live music that was being played. This is a great place to go.
The only big downside is the parking. even with a validation from a purchase in one of the stores it's still very overpriced.
I love this place! The shops, the ambience.. the food. The to top it off there was live band playing the weekend we were there. Can't beat the relaxation resulting from the combination of all these. Would go there again in a heart beat!
Many food options, although those seemed less exciting than the store selection.
I love just walking around here. Cute pond and fountains, very nice people, beautiful view of the bay and Coronado bridge. The stores here are very unique and most are not chain stores.
