The mall looks great now! After waiting months for the construction to be finished, the new Nordstrom is gorgeous and spacious. There's also a new Shake Shack! (The line is always long! But delicious and I'm so excited we finally have one in SD). The mall has definitely upped it's decor and is a beautiful place to shop, or even to go just relax and hand out.
More high end, high dollar shopping. Good selections beautiful and clean atmosphere. Food court around the ice rink is great and the outdoor eating area around the water fountain is just as awesome. There is a small playground for kids and parking is being expanded currently along with more retail space. Bus stop along side, the 805 freeway one block away and so close to the ocean.
Really great place to walk around. They have a dog park, kids park and family bathroom with private rooms for breastfeeding or taking a short nap, with a playroom and television for children.
I really like the new Westfield UTC mall. Bigger Nordstrom and so many new stores. The new parking garage seems to have plenty of parking spots. I am not thrilled to hear that they will charge for parking in the future. Looking forward to a few more new stores that will be openings in early 2018.
Lots of seating, some lounges and outlets for charging electronics. They have been under construction for some time, but have begun opening their new stores (as of October 2017).
Lots of upscale shops. Many creative kiosks. Plenty of choices for healthy food. They even have a roving concierge who helps you find stores. And a beautiful outdoor setting that's a pleasure to stroll through.
