We had an absolute blast on the trolley tour Yesterday! Alex was our guide and he was FANTASTIC! He engaged the group the entire time, was extremely knowledgeable about the history of San Diego and kept it very fun! We decided to stay in his trolley for the entire experience and that gave us an opportunity to decide which part of the city we wanted to spend more time in!
I would definitely take this tour again and ask for Alex!
Our tour guide was Alex. He was friendly, courteous and entertaining. He made the tour fun and enjoyable. He was very knowledgeable about San Diego and I learned a lot of history about the city. We had a wonderful tour with great narration by the driver, Tim. He is knowledgable, funny, and attentive to the group. Half of us were San Diego residents. I think we enjoyed it more because we learned new things about the history of San Diego. Out-of-towners were impressed by the wonderful view of the city and its points of interest. Great job, Tim!
Took the tour in San Diego-first driver-Philip was wonderful-very knowledgeable and funny and entertaining. The second driver-Griz-not so much. He was an ex police officer and still acted way too much like one-very dry and more concerned that people on the bus were talking than he was about getting along or being polite. The tour itself was really fun-we were able to see a lot of the city that we normally wouldn't have seen. We had a 2 day hopper pass so planned to just take the tour one day and spend the second taking it and getting on and off to see things we wanted to see. I would recommend this as a way to get around and see the sights without having to drive but hope you don't get Gris!
These guys are fantastic! I did this tour alone and would have never been able to figure out all the cool locations with this much ease. The guides are equipped with a perfect mix of personality and historic knowledge. I enjoyed the masterful storytelling and the gorgeous locations. Photos are from some of the locations I visited. Tons of history here and I walked away with an experience I will never forget.
