My friends and I had a beautiful evening. We we're looked after by the attentive and helpful staff and I would recommend this this place looking for authentic Russian food! The cheese bread was delicious.
I had Kiev chicken. With water. Very impressed. I mean good. Also the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. As a result, I enjoyed both plate and air. The day I visited was karaoke night. Large pair of center table was one for birthday, other for families. Not too loud. I enjoyed it.
Owner is extremely polite and friendly, and will gladly answer any questions about the menu or pretty much anything else. Probably our favorite restaurant in town.
We decided to try some Russian Cuisine while in San Diego being that my travel companion is from Poland this was his recommendation. Nice little family-run restaurant. Very quiet. The food took awhile to get there as each dish is prepared by hand at the time of order. It was amazing food. Both my companion and I loved our dishes. I opted for the smaller size Russian dumplings with chicken and they were amazing. Not sure how anyone would be able to eat the larger size order as I could not finish mine. My travel companion opted for their version of chicken cutlets which came with mashed potatoes, bread and a mushroom spread. He said it was very good. Great place and I would return again.
Come in and sit at the bar, have a martini made from their house infused vodka. Hands down the best and smoothest vodka I have ever had. (If you have extra money and want to invest in something this guy would take the vodka market by storm) oh an the food is 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. This is the best kept secret in San Diego. (FYI the shots are actually Russian shots that are 50% more than your average shot)
Excellent good and service, with a nice quiet atmosphere. Good for a date or special event, or just dropping in.
