Wanted to like this place but it kept disappointing. I'm not sure if they were short staffed or what but from the minute we walked in, we were pretty much forgotten...
Food took an hour and my husband ordered a well done steak and after that long wait, brought it rare. I've had a better salad from Wendy's. My steak was good but by the time it arrived, I was not happy. Bread was so stale. Almost inedible. As a regular vacationer of San Diego, i will not be back.
Old school, old school, old school! Opened February 1971. You could meet Chargers there all the time. Known for its prime rib and steaks. Restored to perfection recently. Clean always. Attentive experienced servers. Best quality meats. Sophisticated bar!

Came here as a recommendation from a co-worker, but so disappointed. The service was terrible. Food was alright. It was not a place to go and watch the game on Sunday.
This place is one of a kind! I come here for lunch often because I work right down the street. The customer service is awesome! And the food is amazing. If you come for lunch make sure you get seated in Denise' s section she is a doll.
If you haven't been to Bully's since the '90s, and are expecting a fine dining experience, you will be disappointed. If you just want a good hunk of meat and to watch a game, definitely check them out. I don't watch sports, so I'll probably just grab prime rib closer to home. Minus a point for not having one or more ingredients for any of the cocktails I wanted to try, and another one for still upcharging me to customize something they did have into something I wanted to drink.
