I went to Hoehn Honda Carlsbad, CA two years ago and I traded in my car for a used Nissan Xterra. The Xterra had bad brakes and a leak in the ceiling when I signed the contract for this car. The dealers knew about these problems and they did not say anything to me about it. They also signed me up with a car loan company called, A-L Financial which is located in San Diego, CA. They are common criminals. They have stolen a large portion of my money that I paid to them. Over the past two years I have paid $5,750.00 towards the principle balance and interest of my loan. Of that money, only $2,926.30 has been applied by A-L Financial towards the balance and interest. Therefore, they have stolen approximately $ 2,823.70 dollars of my money. When I approached A-L Financial about the stolen money they told me that they could not speak to me about the stolen money and that I would need to hire an accountant to look into the discrepancy. I am sure that the dealers at Hoehn Honda knew about this company’s thieving reputation and behaviors, but they signed me up into a contract with them anyways. I do not recommend that anyone do business with Hoehn Honda for a used or a new car, because their business people do not have good integrity. And I certainly do not recommend that anyone ever do business will the loan company A-L Financial, because they are common crooks and they will steal your money if you sign a contract with them and place you into a financially horrible situation. The worst night mare of my life. Very unprofessional service and poor quality customer service. Agreed on repossession they sent me the sheriff with a bunch of treats over the phone accusing me because they dint sold the vehicle at the desired price. People STAY AWAY from AL Financial. It's not worth it.
Keep payment records, pay in person and always always write names of who you talked to. This will save you dispute their errors and from making extra payments from there miscalculation.
Originally I had an amazing experience with this company, that was until I had my car just over a year and went to trade it in, the car fax came back with a bad title. I gave A-L Financial (Tucson, Arizona) a copy of the car fax twice which they mysteriously lost, I then emailed a a copy to the Phoenix branch. After not hearing from them for over a two weeks I called them back and was told this wasn't their problem if I chose to pursue the issue I would have to contact the BMV where the branded title was registered and fight it that way. Fast forward a few months later I get a sudden garnishment on my check through them, was never given the chance to appear in court got the notice a week after they started taking the money. Be very careful when dealing with this company and make sure you get a car fax report before you sign anything with them.
I have not had any problems with this company or any of them being rude, I stay in contact with Angie, she is awesome.... my experience with all of them has been pleasant, you keep them updated on whats going on with you and you wont have an issue has been my experience.
