So first, I told them several times when getting a quote and everything set up that they need to pack everything as well as move it. Two times after the initial call I had to correct them to say, no you also need to pack everything.

Stay away from this place like the plague unless you too would like a nightmare of an experience moving.

Great experience! Best San Diego movers! This guys doing a great job moving people, and not like any other moving company with a third party brokers or carriers. I've purchased their insurance, that was fairly less expensive compare to any other moving company I've contacted. Nothing was damaged, and I've moved all the way to the East Coast, and then they did a pick up for me back to San Diego from Washington. They are really making sure that your belongings remain safe during the whole moving process! They're really delivering the value!

I had a horrible experience with this company. Do not be fooled by the way that Max talks to you. He talks in a way that sounds pleasant and reassuring of whatever your concern is, but what he does is something totally different. I moved a year ago and I am still trying to get money they said they would refund me when they damaged and lost some of my stuff. Here is my story.

We had many options for a moving company to choose from and the one that stood out including phone set up and contract is Transit Moving. Max handled my queries professionally. We set up the move in minutes and did the move without a flaw. Armand and Max were professionals in their handling of the items moved. Very friendly and accommodating ... I highly recommend them. The price also was just right :)

That is not the end of the nightmare. So then when the stuff arrives, much of it was damaged (about 500 dollars worth). Not only that. My girlfriend had taken special care to pack her artwork that she does very carefully herself. They lost all of it. Seriously. This was devastating as these were not store-bought, they were painstakingly made by her. They told us maybe it was delivered to the other house they delivered to (they made two deliveries that trip). So I ask them to see if they had found it, and please give them our contact information so that if they do find it while unpacking, they can contact us. So now, I'm waiting for a refund and also to hear about the artwork. And every time I call, I ask if they had given this family our contact information, and they say no! but we will... Every single time. At this point I am so annoyed, and the have the gaul to say one time, is there anything we can do? Yes. Give me the money you told me you were going to give me, and give that family my contact info. Fast forward to 11 months later, I am still waiting to get the money for the damaged and lost items. I called max about once a month to remind him. "Oh yes, we're still waiting on XXXX, I will call you on Monday". He never calls back. This is extremely taxing and stressful for me to keep thinking about this, and keep calling to remind him that he owes us money.

When they showed up to my house, they were totally unprepared to pack everything! I told the movers and they were astonished. All they had was a few wardrobe boxes, so what did they do? They start piling stuff haphazardly (breaking and smashing some of the more fragile things) into the large wardrobe boxes with no organization whatsoever. There were large heavy things on top of soft breakable things. It was probably the most unprofessional thing I have ever seen in my life. It was like I was watching a little kid try to pack all of this things for a move. Then they run out of those boxes. So we are waiting for the boxes to show up from the company, meanwhile they start freaking out that they won't be able to do everything in time. So I had to drive to home depot to buy boxes for them. Twice. As if this wasn't enough, toward they end of the day they really started freaking out and asked us to help them. Really? Why did I pay 6k to have my stuff packed and shipped? Then they were so rushed they were ready to leave when there was still stuff in the house!
