While I see many good reviews here for the veterinarian who I'm sure is great. The front office staff is the rudest I have spoken to. I called today around 10am because I woke up to my puppy having a bug bite on his face. Very concerned I called Clairemont village pet asap as I am new the area and live very close to this veterinarian. I was treated to a very rude front office employee who's main concern was telling me they close at 2pm and might not even see my dog if I brought him in. It was obvious she did not care about the condition of my dog, especially once I told her it would be my first time bringing my puppy in as I am new to the area.
My dog is very healthy, so we haven't put him to a test yet, but very pleased for now.
I have been going to CVPC since 1998. Dr. Diamond has looked after all my animals and I trust him implicitly. I think he’s a wonderful vet and his staff are great too. I highly recommend CVPC.
Very nice office, staff & doctor. Dr Diamond was recommended to me by a friend whose dog he took care of when she had a serious kidney disease. She was very impressed with the care and highly recommended him.
Dr. Diamond is the best! From the North to San Marcos to the East in Lakeside & the South in San Ysidro!!! He has diagnosed one if my dogs 10 year old (Ju Ju Bee) a Yorkie/silky with Lymphangiectasia (who has now been in remission for 4 years) to assisting us with the utmost care when we had to put our 12 1/2 yr old chihuahua (Kiddie Kat) down when she developed liver cancer. Ive been going to him for 6 years & he is the best!!!
This phone experience left me feeling even more stressed about my puppy. I will note that I design websites for veterinarians and provide technical support for vet clinics all around the states, this was by far one of the rudest front office assistants I have ever spoken to.
I have gone to many veterinarians as I have always had pets. I have never been so happy. The care, price, and compassion is unmatched when you get in to see the doctor. My dog Bettis had to be put down due to a large mass in his belly. It was unexpected and tragic. He was the light of our lives. The doctor and staff were warm and caring and so empathetic to our sorrow and shock. They made it so much easier for us. For this I will always be loyal to them as long as I live in San Diego and have pets.
