Cathy was quick to fit us in between scheduled appointments right away. Cassidy (the vet assistant) was thorough, gentle, and kind... and then Dr. Schultz came in and told us what the possibilities could be, ran some tests, and explained what should be done. They gently gave her a vitamin water pack, some antibiotics and sent us on our way, but warned us if she got worse to bring her back in. The cost was minimal and we were in and out in an hour. After a few days, poor Cassie wasn't getting any better. We brought her back in and had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Kelly Pizzo- who referred us to the VCA Animal Specialty Group right away and didn't charge us for the second visit. She said the VCA could give her an IV, and run more tests and get results right away there (as it was a weekend- and Coastview sends some of their samples out to labs). We went to VCA Animal Specialty Group, and noticed IMMEDIATELY the difference in care. Coast View is AMAZING in comparison. They are so CARING and WONDERFUL and treated our pet as their own- at the VCA- they were "all business"- not that that's bad, but I felt like it was a bit of a "racket"- At Coast View we felt WELL TAKEN CARE OF, and not taken advantage of in our time of crisis. I will be referring everyone I know to this awesome new Veterinary Hospital. They are the BEST! BTW: Cassie is on the mend. :-)
It's new, the people who work there are incredibly sensitive to the anxiety animals can experience at the vets. I'm not sure of the details but noticed they offer home visits. My dog weighs about the same as I weigh so there's no way I could carry him if he's really sick; it would be awesome to have a home visit option.
Okay these are really great vets. It's really nice when you can walk in the door and instead of your dog being scared they're excited to go in and everybody remembers our names. Very personable place
Great staff very friendly with all of their clientele even the four legged ones. My huge 118lbs lab had a growth on her chest and they took such good care of her. The only thing that was alittle off was the staff will refuse service to anxious or aggressive pet. Overall this is the best Vet i have been to yet. Thank you CoastView.
I can't say enough good things about this new veterinary hospital! The staff is professional, caring, kind, and quick to attend. We had a bit of an emergency with our baby (7 yr. old female pooch) with a bad fever and lethargy for a couple days... She wouldn't eat nor drink water so we brought her in to see the vets at this new clinic. Amazing service!!!
The staff here are so caring and attentive to our dogs comfort. They go above and beyond what we have experienced at other vets.
