A few weeks later, she got stung by a bee and, since she was very new to us, we didn't know what her reaction might be. The doctor wasn't there at the time, but the tech helped us enormously, getting on the phone with the doctor and discussing what happened and what was going on. It turned out to be fine but it was wonderful having a place to go where we were welcomed as the most important people and dog in the world.
If you want a small town friendly, caring treatment, I totally recommend giving them a chance.
We have had two experiences so far and both have been excellent. After having our 2 year old husky only about a month, she stopped eating, totally, for about 2 1/2 days. We were very worried. The doctor discovered that she was full of gas. She gave her something for the gas and, at our request, ran a full series of tests to rule out anything serious. Once the gas was gone, our baby started eating right away at the vet's and continued on with some special food. Everything turned out fine.
The crew here truly value the animals and humans. They care for fur babies like members of the family.

This is definitely a family environment for you and your pets. I had an appointment somewhere else for my pet, but when I accidentally called this vet instead, the person was super nice and warm and they were Happy to see us too. Their rates were so much better for new client and doing kind of a small but could be potentially serious issue for my pet.
Very happy with Dr. Schexneider and the staff there. They were so good with Koa. We drive from Chula Vista just for the care we receive and the customer service in person and in the phone.
