These guys are the best. They love Ish, my golden and I love that they are so good to her.
I have never heard a more toxic environment. and to think they have an anti-bullying policy. I witnessed how older employees pick on and make fun of new employees. shamefull. where is management? they must be very proud.
Bad experience here. New to the area we wanted a fun place for our 11 year old chocolate lab to stay overnight. Despite the fact we specifically said and wrote that our dog preferred dogs his own size, at 75 pounds he was put in a play area with the 30 pound dogs. After 10 minutes there he was bitten badly on the ear needing stitches. He then spent the rest of his stay in a pen alone with a cone on his head, not allowed around other dogs. Since we picked him up we have not received any communication to ask how he was or if they could help.
I work odd hours, so Dr Boyd's 24 hour pick-up/drop-off is a God send. It's so great that they have (reasonably priced) vet services on site. I used to stress about getting my dog's vaccinations up to date before I had to board him, but at Dr Boyd's I can drop him off and they'll just take care of it. I love that they post pictures on shutterfly of the dogs. I download them every time my pup stays. I know my dog loves it here - he actually recognises when we're in the neighbourhood and starts getting super excited!
Place is really legit and they take great care of the pups. One thing is that it is a bit expensive but I think it is worth it. They are also open almost 24 / 7 which is super handy for doggy day care, date night, etc.
