Test drove a car advertised on CraigsList as perfect condition, very clean. The car had paint scrapes and scratches deep down to the sheet metal on a few different body panels, one incredibly obvious from a distance that was over 8 inches in length. The car hadn't been prepped at all, the floors weren't even vacuumed. There was odd tarnishing/corrosion on various parts of the car that made me suspect water/flood damage. The online listing for the car had been taken down for a few weeks and then relisted for almost $1000 more than the original posting(?). The kicker was the automatic convertible top wasn't even working (??!!!). They tried to get it working by yanking on and smacking the top. Needless to say, don't bother with this 'dealer'.
I received great services from this dealer. Dan was honest and straight to the point. He did not try to sale me a lemon like other dealers have tried to do. I have bought at least 3 cars from this dealer and all 3 have been reliable with basic maintenance. I love the last car I have bought. Also, they do smog test as well. I have been going there for the last 10 years and received return customer's discount each and every time. :)
