Don't waste your time with Toyota San Diego and go to Escondido.
Don't waste your time. I ended up going to Toyota of Escondido and bought a vehicle from them. It was a completely different experience with Toyota of Escondido. They were super easy and were up front with everything.
My girlfriend and i arrived last night and was greeted with a smile and hand shake from Nick. Very well informed and friendly, he felt like family. They had a great variety of vehicles and we were both able to find something that was just right. With the wonderful help from their financial department, we both walked away being first time owners of brand new cars. Great experience, great staff!

This place was great. The manager for our deal not only helped us with the loan but was able to even arrange for us to get picked up the next day (we had to return the car rental) in order to finish the loan because we had gone in past the later point of the daytime hours for the banks. It was amazing to get that kind of customer service in helping my family and I get a new vehicle, thank you guys!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! They are DISHONEST People! I took my Prius for a remote key service, and waited more than two hours after been promised to receive a call or text regarding updates on the service. I waited in the lounge and no text or phone call. I went to see Mr. Levy, who filled out the paperwork for service, and to my surprised my car was already dispatched in the parking area. Mr. Levy told me that my car was in pretty good condition. I wonder how long I was waiting in the lounge without any notification about my car status. Then, when I tried to open my car, one of the remote key did not work. The technician was notified and went back in to check the remote keys - He took 20 minutes - just to tell me that he removed the battery from one of the remote keys so the other can work. Both Levy and the technician told me that I needed a NEW REMOTE KEY AND REPROGRAMMING IT for a great estimate deal price of $297. NONE OF IT WAS TRUE!!! I took my remote keys to THE KEY CREW on Adams Avenue, and the technician told me that both remote keys are working, and that the remote key without the battery only needed the removed battery back in - WHICH SAN DIEGO TOYOTA KEPT WITH THEM! So I bought the replacement remote key battery at the KEY CREW for only $3.50, as opposed to be SCAMMED by San Diego Toyota for $300. Now both of my remote keys work perfectly!
I would stay away from this dealership. They told me they would do a price match but wouldn't when I came in to the dealership. I recently went in to purchase a truck and they made me wait over an hour to get the price on my truck I was trading in. They use their typical dealer tactics of making you wait forever.
