This place was awesome when Gilbert was in charge. don't get me wrong I really like Vincent I just don't think that these people know what they're doing anymore. I brought a BMW in with issues with the doors not opening he was going to charge me $1,200 for the lock actuators(all 4 doors going out at the same time seemed odd) it ended up being a $2 fuse that I found. I recently took my lexus in it was having issues with acceleration Vincent kept the car for a few hours and unfortunately told me that it was my transmission that needed to be replaced/3,800. It did make sense but when I took it somewhere else for a second opinion it turned out that it had nothing to do with my transmission something in my motor wasn't getting enough power it ended up being a $500 job. Had I allowed them to replace my transmission my car still wouldn't be working and I would be out almost 4 grand. It honestly saddens me to write this review because, like I said I like Vincent. I like the shop. but too many times my car has been grossly and expensively misdiagnosed. I'm not sure that the intention is to screw people, I honestly think they just don't know what they're doing anymore. I know they have a good following but they are Under New Management and when Gilbert left so should have I.
They don't deserve one star. Worst place, rip offs. They put in two new front hubs, had to replace one of them within a week. Then they put in a power steering pump that I had to replace within six weeks. They cost me over $350 to have their work redone. Go anywhere but there.
They do fantastic work, quick, are extremely responsive, and have really good rates. I was referred here by a friend that is a long time PB resident and I can't be more satisfied by M&C's work. I wholeheartedly recommend them and would without a doubt come here again.
