Bring cash if possible.
A few weeks ago, my car's Coolant light came on. Also my washer fluid was out. I stopped by and the guys refilled the empty coolant tank, but found that the washer fluid tank was full. They took everything out to find the leak in the washer fluid hose but still couldn't find anything wrong. Wouldn't you know, it turned out the spot where the fluid comes out was clogged up. This after all that meticulous searching. They happily replaced the part and I went on my way happy as a clam. Oh. And despite all that work, they didn't charge me for the work, just the refill.

I had a great experience. After getting quoted over $600 at another shop to replace an exhaust manifold, I took my car into Son's. They quoted me at $300 for the same work, but upon inspection realized that only a few bolts needed replacement. They also replaced both headlights. Total bill: $179. Also get my oil changed here for $25. Honest, friendly guys- come highly recommended.
Son's Auto Repair, is owned by David Son, and I have found that the service is well priced. He tends to figure out the exact problem and charge the apporpriate price for the situation. Many other repair shops charge a lot more than, and don't tend to fix the problem. If you have a complaint about the quality of the service, David is willing to listen. I recommend Son's Auto Repair.
