Their service department on the other hand is always top notch. They are always helpful, friendly, and go the extra mile. I cracked a carbon fiber frame a couple of years ago and they replaced it with a new one, with absolutely no hassle. All in all, Black Mountain is more expensive but they always stand behind their products and their work. I would recommend this shop to a friend.

They are the best! I have been dealing with this shop for around 15 years. Whenever I'm in the market for something brand new, I go to them. The sales staff are always patient and courteous, and the maintenance guys really know their stuff. I have lived all over San Diego county and I wouldn't dream of giving my business to anyone else. JUST CALL THEM ALREADY!
This is an awesome local bike shop. Everyone is super helpful and friendly and they are really speedy. They got a good selection of bikes and they always help you get back on the street as quick as possible. Some stuff is a little pricy, but it's well worth it. Swing by next time you need some service or parts.
Black mountain pricing on bikes are competitive, but not the lowest. Their pricing on road cycling shorts, jerseys, bike apparel in general is on the high end.
Excellent selection of bikes. They dont really have a good safe place to test ride the bikes. Intelligent sales staff. Always very helpful. I have purchased my last 3 bikes from them.
