Had a great first time in! Went in to get a budget cordless drill, and saw they had a 3/8" craftsman that's usually $89.99 on sale for $49.99. I was initially helped by Andy, but it seemed to be out of stock. Before I knew it, there were 3 more employees helping us out by searching the storage for one, but no luck. We found a comparable craftsman drill for the price of $89.99, but they honored the sale of the initial drill and gave me the discount.
They were all very friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely be spending my paychecks here.
Store looks great but the fact that they are either behind schedule on opening or completely unaware of their advertising is disconcerting. I am hopeful they will get their store open soon and be a good place to shop. In the meantime, San Carlos Hardware has excellent service and decent prices when you take in the convenience factor. Update to my previous comments- i was just there to buy a light switch, there were 4 employees in the front of the store, 3 were helping one guy that was buying 4 flat washers for 39 cent ea and a can of spray paint, the other employee was counting down her drawer at the slowest pace i have ever seen. NONE of the four employees acknowledged that i was waiting for 5 minutes while they tried to match up 93 cents worth of washers. I even made eye contact with them as they walked away from the huge washer conference and nothing. It takes FOREVER to check out and they do not care how long it takes. I will now try harder to NOT shop here and go to San Carlos Hardware. They are courteous and quick!
I like this store, it is clean and customer service has always been wonderful! They also have a good amount of fountains in their garden area in which we found one we really loved!
What a great surprise to find this store. Such great customer and friendly service. The selection of merchandise is wonderful too!
